Many of us wonder where to go when we need to see a doctor, a dentist or other health professionals that can speak English. As there are as many answers as there are people, locations or budgets, it can be very difficult to find the right place for you that fits your budget. We do not intend here to make a list of the best health places in Shanghai but only to list a few of the places that have been recommended by several expats through expats groups and communities.

NOTE: We have not visited or tested all these establishments. This list is not based on unbiased quality checks but merely a list for your reference, based on what other expats have recommended where you can find English speaking services.

Which clinics/hospitals have expats recommended?

  • Jiahui Health ( https://www.jiahui.com/en )
    They have the “Jiahui health clinic” in Jing’An and the “Jiahui International Hospital”.
    Many foreign generalists and  specialists including dentists.
    Be careful of the cost as it can be pretty expensive. Only recommended if you have a good health insurance coverage.
